This little fella depicted here is only a day old, according to the public announcement made at the public feeding.
He/she picked a bad day as a birthday: today was the hottest day austria had in ages with temperatures in the upper 30C (that is above 80F!) Therefore I cannot tell if a baby South American Sea Lion is supposed to look that way or if he/she is suffering from the heat.
