Crocs in UV-Light
2007-09-20	Morelet's Crocodiles waiting for something to eat. The camera took the UV light, producing an interesting gleam that wasn't visible to the naked eye.
Curious Wolf
2007-02-16	A wolf watching me while I hurried to set up my camera and point my zoom lens at him (or her?).
Desert Locust
2007-06-15	This particular specimen was sitting on the class of its display case which made for a nice "looks like it is flying" picture.
Eye of the tiger
2007-09-20	A very very close-up of a tiger's eye. For once, this one was not hiding, but snoozing right in front of the outside glass wall. Lens to eye distance about 50cm or 20". The original 6M image clearly shows the reflection of other visitors in the eye!
Feeding hippopotamus
2007-08-28	I like this snapshot because you can actually make out the grooves in the skin.
