Flamingos

2007-11-17	The male Giant Panda bear was having a snack outside in the bright autumn sun - the green leafs provide a rich feeling in this picture, while the overall brightness is low enough to actually see the structure of the snow and bright enough to see the black regions of his fur.

Iguanas
2007-05-01	This image required some color correction to remove a tint caused by the artificial light. It is quite impossible to do a full camera setup for every motive when you set out to capture live animals.
Jaguar basking in the sun
2007-09-20	Like the tigers this Jaguar was outside today, enjoying the last warm rays of summer sunlight on the high platform of its cage. You can see the mesh wire against the sky. Sometimes - if time permits - this picture will get a different background!
